With Nassau County easing COVID-19 related precautions, Local 812 members can now call in advance to arrange meetings with Local Union, Pension and Health Benefits staff. To protect members, our offices will adhere to all health protocols including social distancing and wearing masks.
Members can now schedule in-person retirement interviews.
At this time, we can’t safely accommodate “walk in” visits.
The union and benefits offices have been fully operational during the PAUSE period. The pension office processed 80 retirements and union and health benefit staff have handled all issues during the past months. Shop stewards have done an amazing job of ensuring constant communication between union leaders and the shop floor despite all the barriers that the pandemic created.
